Our CD is called "Mostly Live" because it includes 3 songs recorded in the studio and many more live recordings.

The YOUNG@HEART SOUNDTRACK from Rhino (digital-only, from itunes and amazon) contains 16 songs highlighted by the Young@Heart Chorus’ renditions of the Ramone’s “I Wanna Be Sedated,” Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancin’ In The Dark,” David Bowie’s “Golden Years,” Sonic Youth’s “Schizophrenia,” James Brown’s “I Got You (I Feel Good)” and Talking Head’s “Road To Nowhere.”

The Walker George film "Young@Heart" is distributed by Fox Searchlight in the US and Canada and is finishing a successful run. The film will be released internationally in Switzerland this September, and in Australia, France, Algeria, Monaco, Morrocco, Tunisia and Germany October ‘08. In December it will be released in New Zeland and Fiji. It also will be released in Japan, but we are not sure of all the distribution dates right now.
In mid September 2008 Fox Home Entertainment will release the YOUNG@HEART DVD packed with deleted scenes and a YOUNG@HEART Goes To Hollywood featurette. We'll keep you posted.

What's New?

From July 2008 to July 2009 the Young@Heart will be learning music for a new theater piece staged by No Theater. This will be the third "road" show in our collaboration with No Theater. Previous pieces have included "Road to Heaven" and "Road to Nowhere."
